Small Group Facilitation Seminar

Leading Edge Foundation has just run a significant training seminar for people who wish to facilitate small groups more effectively. Margaret Waight and Ian Wood taught and gave the participants understanding about what makes up a small group, how to give the best and get the best from your group and much more. Skills were learnt and discoveries were made by many who attended this Small Group Facilitation Training Seminar, which was held at the Leading Edge Foundation Training Rooms in their Hamilton office.
Following are testimonies from some of the participants.....
The training was excellent. I found the teaching about facilitating a process that enabled people to move from their comfort zone into a learning zone - so incredibly powerful and will now be able to apply this effectively.

The concept of group values and goals that are based around "doing" and "being" so perceptive and will help to bring people to a new place. It was so helpful.

This course raised my understanding of people's differences and helped me in raising a greater awareness of what I need to work on more. If was great. I loved the teaching on "groups just happen don't they".

I learnt so much about responsibilities of leadership is a small group and have gained a greater understanding of small group dynamics. I know now I can bring group members to a safe place an allow synergy to take place and find fulfilment.

I have enjoyed the course. It was so interesting and informative. I am sure the "Group Facilitation " book by Margaret Waight will be a brilliant resource for me as well. I found the ideas for planning so helpful.
